#5 - Giovina Carabba Tettamanti - Weaving Passion with Purpose - Sharing the Skill of Colombian Artisan Rug Makers with the Rest of the World

In this episode, I am excited to be joined by Giovina, the founder of Tapistelar, a rug company that combines Colombian craftsmanship and tradition with Italian luxury design.

Giovina’s story is as unique as it is inspiring, starting as a holiday which led to her working and living in Colombia. It was here that she fell in love with the artisan skillset of rug making, and saw an opportunity to bring these items to homes and spaces all around the world.

What I found most inspiring during this conversation was the passion with which Giovina spoke about the Colombian families she works with, her clients and her products. She has such a beautiful outlook on life, which is centred around having a positive impact on local communities, and this wonderful mentality has helped her to create a truly sustainable business.
